0:14.0	Hey we've been asking some of our friends to share with you their favorite Bible verses and why those verses are important to them.
0:21.0	Today I want to introduce you to one of our good friends.
0:24.8	His name is Raphael Nieves Rosario. I hope I got that name right. Raphael and his wife
0:30.7	Monica grew up in Puerto Rico. In fact, they just moved to the states a few years ago.
0:35.1	He's getting his master's a divinity from Covenant Seminary and he's an incredible musician.
0:40.4	Okay, here's Raphael. It is difficult for me to choose just one passage of scripture as my favorite.
0:49.0	I can think of maybe Ephesion's one or Romans eight or even Psalm 103 but for some reason
0:57.1	I tend to gravitate towards John chapter 14 let me tell you why with a short story.
1:04.6	I remember being in my senior year of high school really agonizing over what major I was going
1:09.2	to choose in college.
1:10.7	I don't think the fear was because of the career itself, but more about the fact that possibilities of finding a job afterwards were really not guaranteed.
1:20.0	And that was true whatever career I chose.
1:22.6	And because of this, I've always felt fear
1:25.8	about the uncertainty of the future.
1:28.0	Even now, I still do.
1:29.4	And maybe you do as well.
1:31.3	As we're starting in New Year and still living in the middle of a pandemic, we don't know what will happen in the future.
1:37.0	Of course, when we fear we're not sinning against God, God doesn't take offense when we fear.
1:43.7	It is, however, an effect of living in a fallen world.
