I've been having a real identity crisis lately.

We dogs are descended from wolves, which I've always thought was super cool.

But the other day, my human was watching a nature show on the big shiny picture box in the living room.

And there were wolves on there, and they were so big, and their teeth were so sharp, and they were hunting a big deer.

I get my kibble gently warmed in a bowl with special fish oil on top to make my coat shiny. If I'm

descended from those awesome wolves, shouldn't I be a little more wolfy, majestic? I mostly

just feel like a big goof. Like sometimes I get this feeling, especially when I'm on a

walk with my human and I do a really good poop. I get the feeling that I just got to run real fast,

right now, poop, hot, z, z, spin in circles. My human calls it getting the zoomies. It's the

best, but what if it's not wolfy enough?

But maybe wolves like to do fast, happy, spinny circles too. I don't know. My friend Kora was wondering this too. Do wolves ever get the zoomies?

The science behind it is a little bit vague.

It hasn't been super specifically studied.

But zoomies are basically a burst of energy.
