Mike is back in the captain's chair of Breitbart News Daily after a well-earned holiday break. Some of you are also back to work. A lot happened over the Christmas/New Year's break! Terror has once again struck, this time, it appears, from home-grown terrorists. Of all the blood and treasure the United States has spent since 9/11, why are we still dealing with incidents like these? Mike wonders if we as Americans need to make a New Year's resolution: perhaps we need to rethink terrorism and our approach to dealing with it. Then, it's back to work for Congress as well, and already House Republicans are mired in the drama of re-electing Mike Johnson as Speaker. Mike wonders if the GOP is thinking big enough?
