We're back and couldn't take a breath ever since we got. I was like, hey, let's do a

nice show on New Year's resolutions. Like, well, that didn't happen at all. Maybe we'll have a

minute where we can do that. But we spent a lot of time on H-1B visas, that debate that happened

Christmas, starting on Christmas, then for a couple days, and it'll certainly come back around.

So we will save that conversation for our podcast to another day.

We talked to the head of the Convention of States.

That's a good thing to start this new era with.

I think this is a wonderful goal that we should keep in mind.

I came in very skeptical and left this conversation, a big supporter of it.

So we'll play for you that. But first let's start off with the New Orleans

and Las Vegas terrorist attack, two terrorist attacks on the very first day of the year. Is that

are these one offs or a two off or is this a sign of what's to come or maybe even a sign of

sleeper cells to be awoken. I don't want to.

I wish this one in the case, obviously,

but I really feel like we have to start with what happened in New Orleans.

And I hate that to be our first moment back,

but perhaps this is a sign of the year that is to come as well.

Also, you may have been checked out still from the news yesterday yesterday like new

years may be the most like everyone's checked out holiday of them all

like we were driving around christmas eve and there's still kind of people out and about

whatever we were downtown yesterday new year it. Like, no one goes anywhere.
