0:30.9	do we get too wrapped up in denominations. A fun question, but I don't think you're
0:36.0	going to like my answer because it's the answer no one likes, and that is, well, it depends. Some people do do and some people don't. Some people are really
0:46.8	anti-denominational. In other words they think denominations are bad for the
0:52.4	church. They've seen denominational abuse or
0:55.4	they've seen people who are more loyal to their denomination than they are to
0:58.8	Jesus and so they've come to the conclusion that denominations are wrong.
1:04.7	But on the other hand, you have people who have seen the denomination they've been a part of
1:09.3	do a lot of good things.
1:11.0	Now the temptation there is to make the denomination more important than
1:15.8	following Jesus. So you become more loyal to advancing the denomination you're
1:21.0	in, Baptist, Presbyterian,
1:23.0	Episcopalian, Catholic, whatever,
1:25.0	than you are to Christ.
1:27.0	And there's a loyalty there that can get out of whack.
1:31.0	Instead of being loyal to Jesus, we become more loyal to a particular denomination
1:36.0	that we're a part of.
1:37.5	So can denominations be good?
