I want to talk to you today about what you need to do

while you're waiting for your dream.

I'm telling you from experience, opportunities favor the person who does this.

You know, I was thinking about how I started this YouTube channel years ago,

and I felt so unprepared, unqualified, and just scared. I knew people would make fun of my voice.

I know it's crazy. It's vulnerable when you film yourself and you just upload it for anyone to see

and to critique everything. But I knew in my heart that God wanted me to minister

to people and share with them what he had taught me to live my dreams. Well, I had 22 views a day

the whole first year. 22 people believed in me. But I just kept filming week after week after week,

not letting those numbers discourage me.

And I was getting more and more comfortable

with each video and gradually the numbers started growing.

Well, I remember the day I was at Lakewood Church

in Houston, Texas, just attending the service.

And at the end, the TV crew came up to me

and said, we want you to close out Joel Osteen's

service on series XM. What? Millions of viewers watching Joel Osteen's service. But you know what?

I was ready. I had been filming this little video week after week after week after week and I was ready for my opportunity.

In fact, here's a picture of me closing out the service for Joel Osteen. Here's a phrase I want

you to remember. Coach John Wooden said when opportunity comes, it's too late to prepare.
