Schaefter says that Martin believes he is woefully underpaid. Well, I looked it up. Spot rack

ranks him ninth among NFL guards with an average salary of $14 million. And should he get an

extension? I mean, no. Wow. Listen, David, David, I understand that he may feel, hey, next to

Quentin Nelson, who by the way, wasn't very good last year. I'm the best guard in the league.

But reality time, you signed a mammoth extension. You're already paid amongst the elite at the

position. It is not as if he is on a rookie deal and is an all pro and is making three million.

He makes $14 million a year as a guard in this league. When his contract's up, he's either

going to be worth it or not. No, I, if I'm the Cowboys, go ahead and hold out. Do whatever they want to do.

And at some point, you're not going to be the, when he signed that extension, it was like, okay,

you're the man. And then life went on. Other people made money. Cap went up.

Yeah, deal. It's not like he's making peanuts. He's a very good player. He's still in the top 10.
