first high school graduation so I will be in a I'm in a very very strange

place emotionally and maybe that will affect what goes on today but deepest

prime time hearing last night into the events of January 6th we'll take up

the balance of the show today and I want to try to pull various strands out if

we can because we have the issue of how did the hearing go as a matter of

itself like was it a good hearing did it reveal things was it conducted

properly was it important and then we can then talk also about it's

political the political aspect and the way the media covered it the first

impulse on the part of those who wish to downplay what happened last night

seems to be to say as has become a classic Washington trope that there was
