It's impossible to maintain anything for 100% of the time in any relationship, let alone a marriage.

So knowing and understanding that, like, things are going to teeter, totter, go back and forth, up and down.

But the commitment to being there and sitting in it and figuring it out is

what's going to get the longevity aspect.

I feel like we give up really quickly on relationships when we're not happy, but over long periods of time,

there are going to be times where you're happier than other times.
