First up today, here's a voicemail from one of our listeners named Lala.

The 2, verse 8, it says,

Watch yourselves so that you may not lose what we have worked for,

but may win a full reward.

I know that this is a letter written to some disciples

concerning going in the faith.

But that verse make it seems like we can lose our salvation. When other words,

in other places in the Bible, Jesus says, what God gave to him, he shouldn't lose any one of them.

So is this verse saying it's possible to lose our salvation if we're not careful enough? Or is it

meaning something else? Thank you so much for your show. It's been a blessing. Hey, Lala, thank you so much for your show it's

that second John 8 is is teaching that we can lose our salvation I mean

obviously there is an admonition here to be vigilant watch yourself so that you

may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
