when someone is is counting on presuming on God's forgiveness while they're continuing in sin because

that's exactly what this verse says we need to guard against. If we continue in sin after we

we have received the truth, then that's a scary, scary consequence.

And I don't usually even explain what that verse means.

I just read it that there no longer is a sacrifice for sins.

And the sacrifice for sins is what brings us forgiveness.

So if there's no longer a sacrifice for sins, and then it goes on to say,

expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which will devour the adversary, sure sounds

like hell to me, that there is eternal consequence for us presuming upon the forgiveness

of God when we are still walking and sin.
