We're gonna talk to a guest that a lot of you have emailed us the last few years and said you've got to get this guy on.

And you're right. And today is the day we were able to make it work.

John Cooper, the lead singer of Skillet, will be joining us at the bottom of the hour he's got a new

book out we'll be discussing that at the bottom of the hour next hour since we're just

taking requests today we only had one request for this but that's all that's all it took to persuade me.

We had a lot of requests for getting John Cooper on this show over the last few years, but

we did get one request asking me to reset the true story of St. Nicholas. We did this for Theology Thursday

right before Christmas a few years ago and it's one of my favorite stories so

I'm more than happy to reset it for you again, and we will do that coming up for Theology Thursday a little bit later on.

He's not quite the jolly old Saint Nick that you've been sold. Not quite. More my speed, which is why I like the story.

And then my oldest daughter Anastasia will join us for three non-political questions.
