In Isaiah 32, 17, we read the fruit of righteousness will be peace.

And we all know, if we look back on our spiritual lives, that the times when we have been most

obedient have been the times which ultimately have led to joy even though obedience often

leads to suffering, let's not forget that.

Suffering is a part of our spiritual training, part of God's curriculum.

But we also know, and probably it's easier to remember this, that the times when we have

been disobedient have led to misery.

And don't we see an illustration of that in our little children?

When a little child is being disobedient, he's really not happy.

He's quite miserable.

The next brother to me, number two of six and six in the family, I have four brothers.
