0:08.9	Well, before you generalize, or I assume this is a question from a female, doesn't sound like
0:18.0	she's probably gotten jacked around by a few guys, she's little pissed off and she's saying all men in general are like this
0:25.4	people are going to act consistently with how they view themselves to be it doesn't matter whether the view is accurate or not if you believe you only attract assholes and jerks well guess who you're telling your brain to be on the lookout for assholes and jerks and well, guess who you're telling your brain to be on the lookout for?
0:38.6	Assholes and jerks. And if you keep mating the same kind of person, the same kind of asshole and
0:44.1	jerk over and over, I'm sure you guys know girlfriends of yours or like that. They seem,
0:48.3	they break up a one dude. And then a couple months later, there was somebody else. And it's like,
0:53.0	even though it's a different guy, it's pretty much the same kind of person.
0:57.5	That obviously in that case, the problem is you.
1:00.4	You get what you focus on in life.
1:01.9	Whatever you focus on expands.
1:04.9	And somebody that's consistently getting in relationships with guys that are using them or hurting them,
1:12.9	are ignoring the signs that that guy that they're dating or seeing or they're involved with
1:18.0	is not treating them in a way that a guy who truly cared would.
1:22.5	Like, obviously, in your case, your dad dotes on your mother.
1:25.9	And he would never be an asshole to your mother, even though they butt heads and I'm sure
1:30.5	that there are hot-tempered Cubans like most Latinas are.
1:34.8	But he genuinely cares for your mother and wants her to know that.
1:39.0	And so he does the little things that show he cares.
1:42.3	The guy that doesn't give a shit about you, that's how he's
1:46.3	going to treat you. And it doesn't matter what people say. The only thing matters is what people do.
