Summary
A harmless rash spirals into a full-blown medical horror show. From diagnosing ringworm on-air to blaming spouses, pets, gyms, pools, and beaches, the conversation quickly derails into fungal infections, mystery rashes, frozen poop snacks, and actual worms coming out of actual humans. Educational? Maybe. Disturbing? Absolutely. Listener discretion (and antifungal cream) advised.

Well, I think I have it. Okay. I think I have it. And by the way, ringworm, there's no worm involved here. It's a, it's a rash caused by a fungal infection is what it is. It's itchy, circular rash. And I've had this thing on my ankle for several days. And I keep telling you guys, you know, when no one's listening, no microphones run, there's something going on. I have this rash. And you guys all say, it's ringworm, we're promising you. So I went online and looked at the pictures, sure does look like it. |
| 2:01.0 | You thought Nate and I were just messing with you. But I really think, based on your description. It ain't fun, but the good news is it's very treatable. Yeah. Right? Of all the worms, this is the best worm to have. I once got it on my belly, like right in the center of my stomach when I was in grade school. I don't know how, but it's like that red, it's a red ring with like a yellowish center. It's like somebody burned you with a cigarette lighter. It's very active in gyms. So if you're in a gym all the time, sometimes you can just pick it up by walking or, you know, touch and something. I guess that rules that one out. Haven't been in a gym in quite some time. You've been in a bathhouse recently. No. Check the dogs because my cats had it once. And I'm telling you, when I brought them to the vet to see what it was, they acted like they had some kind of plague. They had to throw away what they were wearing. They made me, you know, put the cats in a certain room and don't, you know, because the cats don't have control over their actions like humans do, and so they can get the germs everywhere. Where do they get it? If my dogs gave it to me, where do they get't know. I don't know. Does Alex have it? I don't think so. |
| 2:02.5 | Well. |
| 2:03.1 | Should we call Alex? |

| 2:05.1 | Can we do that on this on the podcast? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Let's call my husband. Let him know I have ringworm. He's going to be so excited. Wait, wait, he's around animals all the time, so maybe he could bring it home. |
| 2:17.3 | He could have been the carrier. |
| 2:18.8 | Yeah. |
| 2:19.3 | Let's call him and blame him right now. |
| 2:20.9 | But why don't they call him? He's around animals all the time, so maybe he could bring it home. He could have been the carrier. |
| 2:18.8 | Yeah. |
| 2:19.3 | Let's call him and blame him right now. But why don't they call it something better than that? If it's not a worm, that makes it sound gross. Well, it looks like it. Yeah. It's gross. It's a rash caused by a fungal infection. Right. Yeah, hold on. Here we go. scary We've all gotten ringworm at some point. Hello. Hi. Hi. Hi. I know you're very, very, very busy at the zoo, but we got to, do you have a moment? I'm very, very, very, very busy. You're not like you're in the bathroom. No, I'm in the castaturia. What do you do? |
