0:45.2	I was reading in a passage that I think if you're familiar with like some pretty well-known
1:01.1	stories of the Bible, this would probably be in that category of a familiar story. It's the story
1:06.9	when Jesus feeds the 5,000 with very, very little. So I'm going to share this story with you. We're
1:14.3	just going to read. We're reading out of Matthew 14 verses 13 through 21 or so and so
1:22.4	if you want to follow along with me, that's where it will be. And then I'm excited just to share
1:27.0	the message of encouragement that the Lord placed on my heart. So starting in verse 13,
1:33.6	as soon as Jesus heard the news, he left in a boat to a remote area to be alone. And this news
1:39.6	that he had heard was that John the Baptist who was actually Jesus' cousin had been killed by
1:46.1	King Herod. And Jesus has heard this news and this honestly isn't even what we're talking about
1:52.2	today. But I think this is so encouraging to know that Jesus experienced loss and Jesus experienced
2:00.0	like being with people and hearing news that devastated him and he had to withdraw from those
2:05.1	people to go process. He had to withdraw from the crowded, busy, noisy places to go be alone with
2:11.6	God to pray process through the sadness, probably the frustration and he had a degree.
2:18.3	And so if you have, all of us have experienced loss in some way and I just want you to be encouraged
2:25.4	to know that Jesus gets it. And I love and he was for that we're encouraged that Jesus empathizes
2:32.5	with us in our weaknesses and so we can boldly approach his throne of grace and ask us for help
2:38.8	in time of need. And so boldly approach the Lord today with the sadness that may be on your heart
2:45.1	knowing that he is the God of all comfort that he gets it and he is near to the broken hearted
