I think I'm also tired of the narrative.

You know, like when you meet people, you've got to give them this whole like, you know,

four decade history of, oh, but it wasn't this and it wasn't that and it isn't this and it isn't that.

And then like, I don't, I don't always want to live in that.

I want to kind of be like, you know, there's more to me than those past years.

And like, could we just like start new maybe? But then it's also just, I don't know, we're

either all messed up by the time we get to this age or very few of us are venturing out far enough

to be in social groups anymore.

My name is Deborah Felata and I'm a licensed professional counselor, national speaker,

and author.

Through my blog, books, and podcast, I have the privilege of helping millions of people get healthy mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

The purpose of this podcast is to have on-air, authentic, counseling-style sessions where we talk

about how people are really doing and give my guests and callers an opportunity to talk to me as a licensed

professional counselor. Each of these episodes is meant to show you that we are all on the journey

of healing, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and relationally, together. None of us are immune to the challenges and struggles of life, but we don't have to walk this path alone.
