It's Rob Moore here, and there's a wildfire raging debate going on right now on Facebook.

And sorry, I started it and stoked it and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity

to discuss this from the disruptive entrepreneurs point of view.

Now before we go into what that raging wildfire debate is, what is being a disruptive

entrepreneur? This is the second episode in the disruptive

entrepreneur series. I intend to make many thousands of these disruptive

podcasts. So a disruptive entrepreneur is someone who is quite happy to be a contrarian, shake the status quo,

move in a different direction from the masses, even maybe stand against what's been done the normal or the old

way and try and find a better way if you think about what Uber have done in the world of taxi driving, you know, that's

pretty disruptive and if you think a lot of the new renewable tech or green tech as they call

it, which is disrupting some the the old ways of creating energy

such as oil. Now what I don't mean by being a disruptive entrepreneur is being

gobbie and just you know for shaking and breaking things up for the sake of it.

I've probably been accused of that in the past but but disruptive for the sake of

being disruptive. All it really does is create change for the sake of change and that creates a lot of attrition, it creates a lot of issues, it creates a lot of costs, a lot of extra overhead on your business.

So there's a fine line between disruption and innovation, which is change where maybe changes needed,
