As lose, unfortunately, to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the shootout. Four to three. I don't know. I think a lot of people feel a lot of different ways about this game. So I will get into it in a little bit. First, I've got the 60 second rundown for you. So you learn how I feel about it. Ave started off strong. The first half of the first period was really quality

hockey from them. They get the early goal from Lekidin that really sets them off on the right

foot. The second half, Tampa pushes back pretty heavily. Ends up being a relatively even period

on the underlines. I think the abs were a little bit on the negative side. But the abs get out of that

period up one. The second period, this game kind of took off. He started to get a lot of action all over the place in this one, including a fight with J.T. Comfer, by the way, that was kind of crazy on a goalie interference that I'm sure we'll talk about. But the abs score one more, and Tampa scores one more, an incredible play by Bowen Byram on the Aves goal to feed Nathan McKinnon. Give up a two-on-one and it costs them. You get into the third period. The a abs get shelled early on almost immediately give up a goal to Tampa Bay on a weird, fluttery, floaty puck. They get it back from Dennis Molligan of all people to 3-2.

And then Curtis McDermid misplays a puck.

It's 3-3.

That takes them to overtime in the shootout where the overtime was weird and bad from both

teams I felt like.

And the shootout, unfortunately, Vassie was just one save better than Giorgio and the abs lose.

I really didn't have that big of a problem with this loss,

but I imagine you guys probably want to hear Jared Bednar's thoughts more than you want to hear mine.

You know, Jared Bednar also didn't hate this hockey game so

sometimes I agree with the coach it does happen on a cage it will see we'll see I'm
