Welcome in to the DNBR Avalanche podcast. We got Megan, we got Eric, we got Ruto on another day where we know there have been some cuts for the Colorado Avalanche. The official full list is not out yet. We're expecting you to get it probably during the show. We'll see how that happens. But I do think there are a lot of moving parts right now when it comes to the Colorado

avalanche lineup, making these cuts and the roster in general.

I want to start with the fact that Eagles training camp started today.

That's why you've seen a handful of guys cut earlier, all reported that does include

Peter Holland, who is at Eagles Camp.

So there are a bunch of guys over there.

We'll see.

I mean, Eagles Camp is always an interesting place.

You'll end up with a bunch of guys who end up in the ECHL there.

You end up with a bunch of guys who end up with the Eagles,

and you end up with a bunch of guys who are on the verge of making the aves.

Megan, is there a whole lot to think about with Eagles camp when you're talking about the avalanche

side of things or is that, hey, we gave them time in the abs camp.

We'll reassess at the start of the season.

Well, and that's the reassessment part of it is important because even looking at the bottom

of the Avs lineup currently, this is where we entertain the possibility of Riley Tufti getting

an NHL games because they're not going to be fully healthy for the entirety of the year. And so

what they do in Eagles camp is still important in terms of who's going to be the next man up

when a guy needs a night

off when a guy's not feeling well or just a little bit banged up. And that's why it's still

important for guys who might have been reassigned earlier in the process to continue working

hard with the Eagles because they're not just building trust with the Eagles coaching staff,
