Tej Thompson recovered it and baited Georgiev to pull forward and it went back door. Avs killed two of three penalties in that first period, controlled five on five but needed to stay out of the box. In that second period, a lot of shenanigans, our son, Footie, McKinnon scored five-on-three high in the slot. Lickinan scored shortly after McCar and McKinnon. Then after that, got in the zone pretty easy, and McKinnon got it from McCar in the slot once again. But then Tage Thompson set up from the point on their five on three, Dylan Kozans, received the pass, wound it up and fired it in. At the end of that second period, Cagliano O.C. They led the rush, O.C. shot, rebounds. Comfort gets it for his second goal of the night into the third period. Aves broke down defensively off the opening faceoff and Alex Tuck scored to bring it 5-4.
