Gross. I test somebody else was broken off fingernail. That's what watching this game felt like, to be honest.

Avs lose, five to two to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In a game that, I mean, it was a little

all over the place. There was good. There was bad.

Yeah.

There was unfortunate.

There was some nonsense.

A little bit of everything.

I will break down the basics in the 60 second rundown.

All right.

First period, I actually thought the abs played pretty all right.

They don't convert their one power play chance. Chances back and forth are fairly even. Colorado just doesn't execute, doesn't quite have the finish to put the puck in the back of the net when they really probably needed to in the first period. It would have helped. Zero, zero after one. Second period, the first goal of the game goes to Pittsburgh because Sidney Crosby does Sydney Crosby things. Yeah. You just shrug your shoulders and go, yeah, that guy's good on that one. I don't know. Second goal, the abs, things get a little out of hand. Penalties from Curtis McDermott and Andrew Cogliano put the abs in a five-on-three situation where they give up the goal to Jake Gensel. They do get that one back.

A very nice read from J.T. Comfer to make it to one.

But then it became the Jeff Carter show from there.

Jeff Carter takes over. I don't know if I'd say that exactly.

But the Evs continue to put themselves in a hole with penalties.

Pittsburgh makes it 3-1 there.

The aves do get it back to 3-2 in the third period off the power play with the Vaughn Taves,

but that's as close as it would ever get as Pittsburgh picks up two more for the 5-2 final.

I mean, look, the underlines are bad here. In in a lot of ways the abs did get dominated in

this hockey game is it as bad as it looks on paper a j yeah i think so okay yeah uh because after

the first period you feel like you probably should be up one nothing after it you know the

mckenon hitting the crossbar and then ranted and not being able to finish in front.
