Chris McFarland, the GM of the Colorado Avalanche, just had his media availability. All three of you were there, so I'll let you guys take this one.

What did McFarlane have to say about today.

He did say that they are, I thought it was really interesting the way that he said it and then Megan kind of, you know, had him kind of reiterate it.

But that he said that yes, they're mostly done for today, minus some things that

sounds like they've already got done, that they're just waiting to officially come through uh that they're mostly done for today but that they weren't done

the word he used was tinkering they're going to continue to tinker around the edges with that he said

they're going to quote let it breathe for a little bit here um so you know we'll get into kind of what he talked about in terms of who maybe they

still have some tabs on who they're keeping eye on, who those deals in the hopper might

be for.

But for the most part, I don't think we should expect like any new impactful roster players

coming in.

That does not mean they are done coming in today,

but that does not mean they're done for the summer. Before we get into the ab signings, which we

will touch on in just a second, your guys' feelings on the day as a whole. Felt a little bit

slow. There's still a lot of reasonably sized names out there on the market.

Is this the new norm for free agency, or do you think with the cap going up next year,

we'll be back to the madness again next season?
