Welcome in to the DNVR Avalanche Podcasts. We're talking, I mean, we'll talk abs too today, really. It's both abs and Eagles. That's Megan. I'm Rudeau.

0:11.0

Interesting times. What's old as new for the Colorado Eagles, a head coach previously returns in Schneecloth. We've already talked about that a little bit. Megan, you were up at the event yesterday for the Eagles, got to talk to Sneakcloth.

0:23.3

Also Chris McFarland, GM of the Aves, and then Ryan Bach is well up with the Eagles.

0:28.4

So first of all, what are your impressions of the new, I say new coaching staff, new head coach, really.

0:35.4

And I guess Connum Walshuk's there too. There are different things.

0:39.0

Absolutely. Well, and that's part of the discussion is there's a lot of changes. Yeah.

0:44.1

Not just in players, but in personnel this year, as well as things that have remained the same, like Branham and Schneecloth.

0:50.7

But in looking at those things and seeing them in person last night together,

0:56.4

the impression is different from what I had previously. Because I had talked to Schneecloth last season

1:01.0

and I'd been around the team. But seeing Martin Lind and the way that he interacts with Bach

1:07.3

and McFarland and Schneecloth, the community that has been described to me from Croton

1:13.6

when he described that this is a tribe. I always found that language curious because I'm obviously

1:19.1

not in that room and seeing what they're doing in there, but I could really see the community

1:23.5

that exists between this organization on display at every level to just even getting to talk with the new in arena reporter Katie Florio and you know boy their video guy who's been doing this for a long time there's a lot of passion around the organization and it shows in she cloth as the new head coach There's a little bit of humor that I got to see,

1:44.5

a side that I don't ordinarily see. Martin Lind is hilarious. But that's where, too, you see

1:50.0

the almost familial bond that exists between the personnel. And I think it's something that fans

1:57.0

can get sentimental about and appreciate about the culture with the apps too. And I think

2:03.0

having that kind of tight-knit group at every level and then just translates to a better

2:10.0

on-ice product because I think the players feel more comfortable using them as a support system.

2:15.7

And that was just kind of the big takeaway from yesterday was seeing how close

2:19.7

all of these people in the organization are to one another. So we were talking before the show

2:25.6

and kind of where I wanted to start is sort of with Schneecloth because he obviously won championships with the Eagles and the ECHL has been around for a very,
