stories to save trans lives. Well, it's the last day of the Democratic National Convention

in Chicago, and we're here in the hall of the D&C. So you're going to hear a

little bit ambient noise. It adds to the texture of the show, and we hope that you will be a little

flexible and a little forgiving as you hear it all. So it has been a truly both exhilarating and

chaotic time, but historic as well. For me, one of the things that

stands out in a way that I just did not predict before is the number of trans delegates who

are here, nearly 50, which is a record in the history of the Democratic Party, with over 800 LGBTQ delegates overall, which is a record in the history of the Democratic Party with over 800 LGBTQ delegates overall,

which is nearly one out of four delegates who are in the convention hall at the DNC.

It's truly a historic moment.

Someone said that the DNC is being queered. Well, we'll see. But I think that this is a perfect time for us to unpack all that has gone on.
