Today's top story, Trump signed an executive order on policing and it weirdly reflects in my

opinion a lot of the stuff that was in Obama's 21st century policing task force document from 2015, which I had

mentioned, which is reflected in his latest recommendation, Obama's, which was like 150 pages, just like the original thing.

That went before Congress recently.

I've been telling you about it.

And by a strange coincidence today in the Wall Street Journal, there was an article, the title was Obama-era

ideas get some traction and they talk about some of the things that Obama

recommended which was requirements or standards, models for use of force, data collection

on use of force on when there is an incident involving the community and oversight, treating people with dignity,

having diversity and hiring, and having de-escalation training.

Now, data collection, of course, and use of force and de-escalation training are all things that are in the executive order.

And the executive order is very interesting.

So one of the things I expected, two things I expect are the,

that there was going to be a kind of department of policing

and the department of, kind of like a department of education, and also that there

would be like a kind of nationalization, maybe a backdoor kind of nationalization of the police.

They couldn't really do it because it'd be very unconstitutional,

a lot of different directions.

Doesn't it talk about national standards in it?
