Binkley the impeachment marches on.

Marching on. And on.

And on and on and on.

Today is the final day of the question and answer period,

and tomorrow there will be a vote on whether or not

witnesses, testimony, documents, and stuff

will be called.

And I dug in a little bit as to how this works why McConnell's even allowing that and the way they did it was it was kind of hard to search for this but the way they did it was they agreed on they passed a resolution on how the trial would proceed and in that resolution was negotiated, they negotiated this layout, like 24 hours over three days each of opening statements, a couple of days of Q&A.

And then after all of that, I believe they made a change and said that the

all the House evidence would be read into the Senate record and then on Friday

there would be a vote or at the conclusion of all of that there would be a vote, or at the conclusion of all of that, there would be a vote on whether or not to allow witnesses.

Now, I assume that was hard won because Schumer and the Democrats wanted the witness stuff to be in the original resolution

and not actually even go to a vote and then vote on that, which I guess would have had the same impacts.

I don't know, but I feel like they might could have just railroaded them and had left that out,

but maybe it didn't work that way.

So we'll see what happens, but they are going to go to a vote.

Yeah, real exciting.

They're saying, there's three Republicans.

Can they get a fourth, but then they're saying, but there are detractors on the Democrat side?

Oh yes, I saw they added that because there was a list of six Republicans who'll probably vote.
