0:49.1	So Biden has this plan he calls it an infrastructure plan, it's got all this tax stuff in it, and the Republicans
0:56.1	are actually coming out saying it's not really an infrastructure plan, it has a lot of other
0:59.6	tax and spend in there.
1:02.3	And this is just a reflection of for me that Trump was teeing up the whole
1:07.7	infrastructure thing all along now the Republicans are fully behind it whereas
1:12.4	when Obama was trying to get an infrastructure plan it was dead in the water
1:17.2	There there are actually state constitutions that that forbid infrastructure spending because it was historically such a disaster.
1:25.9	It's terrible.
1:27.0	It completely changes people's decision-making.
1:30.2	The roads and bridges are not crumbling and if they are the states should be paying for it.
1:34.8	However, there's a problem. Another thing Trump did, sorry I'm not like super down on Trump,
1:39.7	but his tax plan made it so state and local taxes, Salt, were not tax deductible.
1:47.8	So your state, if they decide to pay for things, you are double taxed on that money.
1:54.2	So New York came out over the weekend
1:56.5	and said they were gonna have a four plus trillion
1:59.6	billion dollar annual tax increase against corporations and high income earners.
2:05.0	Now every dollar that they tax used to be it would be deducted against your
2:10.0	federal tax rate.
