Today's top story is coronavirus, but I'm going to skip that for a minute, because I'm fascinated with the pardons and commutations.

Trump actually rolled out 11 pardons and commutations yesterday, so I had the breaking news about the three most noteworthy ones or I thought they were the three most noteworthy ones. Bernard Kerrick who had been the 9-11 police, or the police commissioner of New York on 9-11.

So that's got to be a fishy dude. I mean, no doubt about it.

And Bush repaid him like he repaid so many other people I think by offering him the

secretary ship of homeland security straight out of the gate and I actually recall that now or at least recall reading this guy's story.

He withdrew from nomination because he had this scandal brewing where he was engaged in tax fraud and other stuff like that.

So he got pardoned and Trump and Giuliani were big in New York at that time.

That doesn't surprise me. I don't like it but doesn't surprise me. The other one was

Rod Blagojevich, who surprised me, although it shouldn't have because he

had been on my mind lately, really railroaded, I think think for allegedly trying to sell Obama's Senate seat and

it was just quid pro quoing in politics which is the norm if not the exclusive way that politics operates. I mean I think

it might be the exclusive way. Yeah a president that doesn't do that is not going to get very much done.

It's not even a president.

He was an Illinois governor.

I mean, obviously in Illinois, it works that way, but I think it works that way everywhere.

I think you don that way everywhere.

I think you don't get anywhere.
