0:31.0	That wasn't the exact headline, but something like that. And as I read into it, it looks
0:36.4	like the mortality rate for COVID is about 0.5%, which isn't really that impressive.
0:44.8	I don't, I think that's for all cases though,
0:47.4	and most cases are asymptomatic.
0:50.1	So I don't even think it's a particularly valid number, but as I go back and try to figure out my own numbers on this thing,
0:57.0	I have noticed increasingly, as have other people, that the CDC data is amazingly sparse.

1:07.2	They just don't have all their blanks filled in.

1:17.4	Feeding it stove piping it perhaps to the CDC I think the that we will never really be able to know the truth but I'm not impressed by a 0.5% mortality rate, especially since the vast, vast majority of the people I think, well, they all have comorbidities so that just
1:35.0	means those people were terminally ill already. Now this came from the CDC. The Wall Street
1:40.9	Journal no the Wall Street Journal said researchers are getting close to this number and its sites
1:47.0	just kind of hodgepodge of different data sets and people working on it and they're all kind of homing in on this 0.5 to 1% rate.
