Brad Binkley our top story Donald Trump is officially the nominee for the Republican Party to run for president in November and the thing that cracked me up was that pence in making a very boring I cannot believe this guy's politician the most

flat line sounding speech ever says that freedom and free markets are on the ballot and that just cracks

me up because if there are two things that are not on the ballot right now even

even in the third party candidates freedom and free markets are not really an option.

It's just a funny way to me anyway to hear someone campaign because it's such a vague

concept and that can mean so many different things to so many different people and it

actually reminds me something Brian Stelter said but but I'll tell you about that a minute.

I've always talked about like the psychic paper from Dr. Who that Obama said nothing and you could just project and Trump says everything and you pick what you want.

I heard legal man call it the other day a Barnum statement. It is. It's like a PT Barnum.

Yeah, it's a glittering generality is what these are called. Yes.

You've said that. Yes, yes, yes.

Fuzzy language.

Yes. So, oh, people did love our talk with him, so he said he's willing to go deep on the deep stuff like you like.

Yeah he likes Barnum too. I'm a big fan of studying.

My interpretation of those glittering generalities is nowhere near anything that's in the offering right now for this country on election day.
