My mom was very strong-willed, very determined, and very family-oriented. When I think of how I was told about my mother's passing. I just remember the feeling that my mom was gone and it was terrifying.

I didn't know exactly what was going on.

There was sort of this idea that maybe one day

we'll have the technology to move forward on these cases.

Duck tape is like a DNA gold mine.

We don't want to arrest you for the burden. We want to arrest it when I went in and killed her.

He disappeared.

You never forget a scene like that and you never forget that you weren't able to solve it.

And it turned into a big who died. that you're weren't able to solve it.

And it turned into a big who-done it.

As I got older, I wanted to see if we could get some justice.

I need to know the person that was responsible for my mother's death.

There are over 100,000 cold cases in America.

Only 1% are ever solved.

This is one of those rare stories.
