This interview with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmitro Kulaba was recorded on Monday the 23rd of January,

that is, before the resignation of several senior Ukrainian government officials.

My guest today is Ukraine's foreign minister, Dmitro Kulaba.

As his country's all-out war with Russia's

invasion force approaches the one-year mark, his role is crucial. For without the military,

economic and diplomatic support of international allies, Ukraine's ability to resist would be severely

compromised. The U.S. alone has provided more than $27 billion worth of

military assistance and billions more in economic and humanitarian aid. Europe too is providing

weapons and economic support, and the impact has been profound. The war has patently not gone to Vladimir Putin's

plan. Ukraine launched successful counter-offensives before winter set in, and the vulnerabilities of

the Russian military have been sorely exposed. And yet, Ukraine still lacks the firepower needed to make total victory over Russia's occupying forces a realistic prospect.

Kiev remains desperate for modern battle tanks, specifically, the German leopard too.

But Berlin remains reluctant to send them or authorize allies to dispatch theirs. And with the talk in Moscow of

another mass mobilization and a major spring offensive, could it be that Ukraine's strategic

options are being compromised by wavering amongst Western allies? Well, Foreign Minister Dmitro

Kalaba joins me now from Kiev.

My pleasure to be with you. It's great to have you back on the show. I'm sure you watched very

closely what happened in Ramstein, Germany, when Ukraine's allies met at defense minister level

to discuss new weapon supplies to Ukraine. What appears to have
