So last week, we started a little short story Friday podcast, and this allows you to listen to something that lasts about 10 to 15 minutes.

It either identifies a previous interview I've done

or a story that I tell on my own. Last week, I figured giving you an education about immigration

through Michael Cutler would be a good idea and the feedback was phenomenal. Today is part two.

You're going to learn today more about legal immigration,

as I see it, the biggest problem we face currently. The information given by Michael Cutler is still

up to date and very concerning. So take a listen, and I'll be back to you in a few minutes. You know, when when I speak to

people a lot of times, they'll say the great wave, the great wave, now they call it the great

invasion. And the numbers were were huge back during the great wave. and now they seemed to be huge again.

Who determines why, when all these people are coming legally to the U.S.?

Okay.

So first of all, we generally have numbers that are established by the Congress. And generally you have a certain number of visas that are issued, let's say temporary work visas.

We've all heard about the H-1B high-tech visas, other visas for moderate technology, moderately skilled workers, and even unskilled farm workers.

A number of visas are issued. But especially

in the high-tech fields, it's limited because we're in fact, we never even used to have the

high-tech temporary work of visas. This came out, to my recollection, in the 90s. The idea that

you're going to bring in high-tech workers temporarily to fill what gap?

I just want you to think about something.
