And I say that across every edition of Dungeons and Dragons I have played.

Because today's article is entitled Dungeons and Dragons, six tips to run a high-level campaign, brought to us by Lucas Ola on The Gamer.

Oh, Lucas. Let's see. Have you fixed it, buddy? It's a historically rough problem.

Yeah, I would say, let's tackle a little bit of history. Have you ever played in a campaign high level? Because I can't say definitively yes. I have definitely played a lot of high level characters, but typically I've done it as like really short arcs or specifically one-shots.

I cannot think of a time that I play, that I feel like I played a campaign at higher levels.

Yeah, because like we did, you know, you ran us through like with a group of friends.

We played that level 20 game for a while.

That was like four or five sessions, not really like a proper campaign,

but I have, um, so I've GMed, uh, several campaigns that went to pretty high level. So like

the first adventure maidens, uh, the fate campaign went all the way up to 17. Uh, so, and that was like

we actually did. We started at one. We made it all the way up there. So it was quite a bit of

higher level play. And like you, I've run a bunch of one shots and stuff. But in general, yeah,
