An iconic part of Disneyland history and Disney in general will be getting refurbished soon.

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room closed this week to perform routine maintenance

on the lighting, sound, and the show. The mighty tree of Tangeroa will be recreated from a high-resolution

digital scan. The current Tongaroa is no longer able to be repaired, having been there since the

attraction opening in 1963. The attraction should open later this summer.
