After months of speculation, the treehouse will be home to a new family and pay tribute to the original 1962 attraction, the Swiss Family Robinson. The Adventureland Treehouse will return in 2023. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/11/adventureland-treehouse-at-disneyland-park-returns-in-fresh-new-way-in-2023/ It’s a small world opened this past weekend with its holiday overlay, but that wasn’t the only change this attraction saw. Two new dolls have been added to this classic attraction! The new dolls are both in wheelchairs and can be found in the South America scene and in the finale. Imagineer Kim Irvine told CNN: “We are always looking to enhance our attractions with not just fun things, but meaningful things as well.” – https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/disneyland-small-world-dolls-wheelchairs/index.html The Wakanda Forever celebration is in full swing in DCA. Over in Avengers Campus, you can meet the new Black Panther as well as learn the ways of the Jabari Tribe from M’Baku. The Black Panther Celebration Garden, located next to the Hyperion Theater, is a place to celebrate the Black Panther. A special lighting ceremony takes place each evening around 5:15pm. – https://www.micechat.com/337012-a-black-panther-holiday-at-disney-california-adventure/ This past weekend marked the start of the holidays at the Disneyland Resort as well as the start of the Festival of the Holidays at DCA! One of the highlights of this festival is all of the specialty foods and drinks at all of the different festival booths. (Pick out some favorites to talk about) – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2022/11/disney-eats-foodie-guide-to-festival-of-holidays-2022-at-disneyland-resort/ If your food list is as long as ours is, have no fear, the Sip and Savor pass has returned! For $59.99, you get 8 coupons to use on food and non-alcoholic drinks around the festival. To get the best deal, we recommend using your tabs on some of the more expensive offerings. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/11/11/were-live-from-festival-of-holidays-at-disneyland-resort-follow-along-with-us/ With a new festival comes new merchandise! We reported last week on the Festival of the Holidays pins that had been spotted. Festival apparel has now been added to the mix. There is a black and gold spirit jersey for $80, a dark red zip-up hoodie for $64.99, plus a mug and a cookie jar. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/11/13/all-of-the-festival-of-holidays-merchandise-at-disneyland/ The Festival of the Holidays not only has great food but there is a ton of live entertainment. The entertainment is what brings this festival to life. (Talk about who is performing, and where to catch them) – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/11/13/all-the-entertainment-at-festival-of-holidays-at-disneyland-resort/ Have no fear, the perfect holiday present is here! We had previously reported that a reindeer sipper would be available this holiday season, but we now have our first look! The sipper is shaped like the head of one of the reindeer from the Christmas Fantasy Parade, tongue sticking out and all! The reindeer sipper is available at select locations for $19.79 – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/11/11/dont-mind-us-were-just-drinking-out-of-a-reindeers-head-in-disneyland/ A large stage is currently set up in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This is for the Christmas Special aired on ABC. In past years, some of the taping was done during park hours and guests were treated to mini-concerts from some popular artists. However this year, most of the taping will be done after park hours. The one exception will be the taping of the Christmas Fantasy Parade. A date has not been announced but should take place in the next week or so. – https://www.micechat.com/339276-disneyland-update-the-ceo-who-stole-christmas/ Discussion Topic: Marceline, MO – https://www.downtownmarceline.org/tour/
