To begin with a bang, Disneyland announced the opening date of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! Starting January 27th, guests will be able to take a trip through the El Capitoon theater with Mickey and Minnie. One of the most exciting upgrades will be two majestic water fountains on either side of the moat. Usually, these changes happen in the beginning of the year, but not this time. On average, the ticket prices increased $5 this time. THere is an additional tier of ticket, which moves the previous ticket levels down, now starting at Tier 0, which is the old Tier 1. Pricing has remained $104 for the now tier 0 ticket, and increased to $179 for the Tier 6 level, up $15 from last time. Adding park hopping now costs $5 more at $65 per ticket. Multi-day tickets went up between $30 and $35 per ticket. Preferred Parking and Hotel Valet parking has gone up $5 and $15 respecively. Genie+ is now $25 per day and they have implemented demand-based pricing with no high end price announced. Guided Tours have come back to Disneyland! Currently, Walt’s Main Street Story Tour and Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort tours are open for booking. Walt’s Main Street tour includes a walking tour down Main Street, a visit to Walt’s apartment, refreshments on the patio of the apartment, PhotoPass downloads, and a commemorative lanyard. The tour lasts 90 minutes for $160 per person. The Holiday Time tour is two and a half hours long and looks at the holiday traditions, with a special viewing area for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, holiday treats, a ride on “it’s a small world” holiday and more. CAMP, The Family Experience Company and Disney have joined forces to put on the experience. Disney Encanto x CAMP is a 6,000 square foot experience, inspired by the film and will transport guests into Encanto. The experience is an hour-long and includes the courtyeard, a climb up to Antonio’s room and a rainforest adventure, a spin through Isabela’s flower-filled room, and more. Never before seen areas like Luisa’s and Pepa’s rooms and Dolores’ Soundscape door.
