Disneyland will open at 8am daily now through December 13th, with the park closing at midnight November 17th through 29th and most of December 1-13th. The park will close at 7pm on Disney Merriest Nites nights, which are November 30th, December 7th, and December 9th. It will also close at 10pm on December 2nd. Some of the tips are pretty standard like arriving early to get more time in Disneyland, talk of the merchandise to buy, and getting PhotoPass photos. This week, Pirates of the Caribbean broke down and could not be restarted after 90 minutes. Riders were evacuated by Disneyland cast members, as well as members of the Disneyland Fire Department. The Unions that represent Disneyland Cast Members have been fighting for higher increases in hourly pay, along with more recognition for the long term cast members. Disneyland responded with a proposal to increase the non-tipped minimum wage to $17 an hour, beginning as early as December 15th, and $18 an hour beginning June 16, 2023.
