D.K. Pittsburgh Sports. We're here to cover Steelers versus Panthers tonight. It's the preseason

finale for both teams. And from the Pittsburgh perspective, Chris, the game means, well, nothing.

Nothing. Thanks for watching, everyone everyone it's not real football that's

why a ron rogers hasn't played at all and he won't play a snap in the preseason other guys

really meaningful guys like t j watt cam haward d k mackaff they're not playing either um maybe we'll get

a little bit more since you know mike thalman didn't roll out like Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slice.

So maybe we'll get a little bit more intrigue early on.

But by the time the second half rolls around, it's going to be rough.

Well, let's drop at least a couple of names here in hopes that there's something to be taken from this.

Yeah.

My hope from the offensive side of the ball is I want to see somebody, anybody, other than Nichols run the football.

Now, I understand Caleb Johnson had himself a nice little third quarter and whatever last week.

He was able to come in.

He came in in the second quarter and he started running well.

I want to see somebody associated with the first team do well with the run.

And that begins with the offensive line.

They have been out there, at least four of the five,

through these first couple of preseason games. I just feel like, I don't mean us, and I don't mean you. I'm talking about

the people in that team environment that they would love to be able to say, hey, we feel good

about running the football.

Yeah, absolutely. Listen, this team's probably not going to be the same type of top three rushes in the league, guaranteed no matter what, but they still want to run the football.
