I'm Dan Kovachovich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports, joined over there in the box by Chris Halleck.

Back home in Penn Township.

I'm in Newark, New Jersey, getting ready to cover right across the, it's not even a street, it's just a garage.

Right across the garage here, Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Devils.

And that's where the Penguins will be clinching of Stanley Cup playoff birth tonight.

I'm not in the business of making predictions except when I am.

And I'm feeling really good about the Penguins' chances tonight. It's a nice thing to make the

playoffs. It's a nicer thing to do well in the playoffs. And Chris, we saw the Steelers make the playoffs.

We saw the Steelers win their division, and we saw how little it means whenever you flame out right

away. Well, it also means, like, if that were to have happened for like the first time in,

you know, however many years, you know, Steelers had gone however many years without making the

playoffs, and then they make the playoffs again, and they lose. Oh, well, at least they made the playoffs.

This has kind of been a thing. It's been going on for a while now. Oh, well, at least they made the playoffs. This has kind of been a thing.

It's been going on for a while now. So, plus the Steelers, you know, standard of, you know,

competing for Super Bowls, and they haven't been anywhere close to that for well over a decade.

Now, people are mad. Yes. Yeah. There hasn't been, there hasn't been a feeling of newness or freshness to the Steelers in a long, long time.

And I don't know that just Mike McCarthy is going to change that in large part

because you're going to have the same quarterback,

not even digging up the whole Aaron Rogers thing again.
