Before we get into the football stuff today, and there's plenty of it. Mike Tomlin had his press conference and all.

I just ran into Marcus Pedersen across the street,

played for the Penguins for a lot of years.

He's now, of course, with the Vancouver Canucks,

who are here in town,

playing against the Penguins up at PPG Paints Arena.

I'll be covering that for our app and i'm

i mean this was just like five minutes ago that's why i'm a little bit late

and i'm reminded of how many quality people pass in and out of your life as a reporter over a lot of time.

People that you really end up, not just liking, but, you know, trusting, you know, getting to know on a professional level,

to some degree on a personal level. You're not,

you know, you're never supposed to become friends and so forth. But trust is a pretty strong

thing between a couple of people. And it made me think just now about about everything that

that's related to the relationships that get formed,

whether it's with the Steelers, the Penguins, or the Pirates, and how much you put into that,

how much of it is purely, purely professional, like, I just want to get some information

out of that guy. And how much of to get some information out of that guy.

And how much of it is, I really like that guy.

He's really pretty cool.

And when you see somebody, let's say, for example, on the negative sense, get hurt on the field or on the ice,

how it hits you a little bit differently.
