And as we always say, the life stuff comes before, even the biggest of news.

And as he texted me, he was aware this was going to be big news.

It would have been a big show.

We're going to try to make up for that today.

George Pickens was traded for anybody who's living in a cave anywhere.

Respectfully, I had nothing against people who live in caves.

Went to the Cowboys for an exchange of draft picks.

The Steelers got the third rounder from the Cowboys next year.

Then there was a swap of fifth and sixth rounders in the following year.

It's really George for a third. And there aren't going to be too many people who are wild

about that in the moment because it's not a wild about it in the moment kind of trade. I get that.

And I appreciate that it's going to be a little bit frustrating

to have done any kind of envisioning of what this offense could have been

with two dynamic weapons on this offense at either edge.

I really, really, really do understand that

because I really, really, really was doing it myself.

I was trying to figure out how this works with the Arthur Smith offense,

you know, the three tight ends and how do you get the ball down deep and everything?

And ever since this has happened, the one thing that I'm feeling, more than anything else, the strongest sentiment that I have about the trade is that it can't be the end of it.

There has to be another WR2 in the equation.
