I'm Dan Kovachvich of DK. Pittsburgh Sports, soon to be joined by Chris Halleck over on the south side.

Steelers did practice today.

The Steelers did have both of their coordinators available to the media. The Steelers did practice today. The Steelers did have both of their

coordinators available to the media. The Steelers did have everybody talk except Cam Hayward,

but Cam is practicing. His teammates all say he's going to be, he's going to be, you know,

participating. There's nothing really to talk about.

So I'm going to kind of adopt the same approach as it relates to Cam.

I have presumed all along, and I do mean all along, that Cam was, I don't want to say back down or whatever.

He doesn't have to back down. All he has to do

is show up and do his job and say, listen, we'll talk about it some other day, meaning him and

the Steelers. It doesn't have to be some big dramatic thing. You know, there's a lot of different

ways to look at this stuff, to paint it, to portray it. to play football cam is on a contract he's on an extension that he

sought and that he received and and that's that's the end of that you know nothing else to it here

as far as everybody else is concerned you've got you know a couple of That's the end of that. You know, nothing else to it here.

As far as everybody else is concerned, you've got, you know,

a couple of the same injuries that are coming up.

You're obviously not going to see Derek Harmon.

You're, I don't think you're going to see Nick Herbig.

We'll see about that, how that goes with the official participation reports and so forth. But the team is, the team is about as ready and about as set as it could be for week one.

With all due respect to Harmon and Herbig, yeah, you want those guys, but I don't know that

their absences will alter whatever approach that you plan to take.
