I'm Dan Kovachvich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports.

This is the new double shot show that shows up at 4 p.m. Eastern every weekday.

And this one is probably going to be a waste of everyone's time, at least at the outset.

But I still feel like I need to bring

this up because Najee Harris has just come off a month of October in which his past three games

have seen 332 yards, have seen who knows how many of them be angry yards as the terminology goes now.

And he's been the driver of an offense that for the first time since the, what, pre-pandemic

Ben years, looks productive, looks dangerous, looks threatening at times. And it begins

with him. Now, I've not exactly been timid in my criticism about him when I feel it's been

deserved. I thought, as of about a month ago, they could have just let him walk

and I wouldn't have batted an eyelash over it. That's how ineffective he was. That's how

pouty he was off the field. And I didn't like anything about the vibe of having Najee in Pittsburgh.

Well, then, in my face, in a lot of people's faces.

Because he's been really, if you think about it, one of the NFL's top running backs.

One of the top, if I had to put a number to it, one of the top three or four running backs in that span.

And unlike other positions on this roster, he might be the one guy that you look at and you say, we need to cut this one off early.

We can't be losing him.
