And by the way, it'll continue to do that even now that the teams no longer playing football.

And I got nothing for you in large part because they, the Steelers, got nothing for you.

Their approach to this offseason was set virtually in stone the moment it ended.

And I say that because the season ended Saturday night in Baltimore.

And it only took till Sunday afternoon before the team and really by extension, Runei,

made clear, made known that Mike Tomlin was going to be back.

And as soon as you say that,

as soon as you put that out there everywhere,

nothing's going to change.

Nothing.

You can replace Terrell Austin with some other defensive coordinator, but that person is going to come

in and be the same subservient soul that Tomlin's employed at that position, even going back

to Dick LeBow's final few years. Tomlin's been this team's DC for a long time now. That's not going to change.

You're not going to see certain tendencies or favoritism towards specific players, certain strategies,

approaches. None of that is going to change what you're going to change. What you're going to get,

what you're going to get is a whole lot of, this is how we do things and we just need to get

to it. This is why we didn't execute it well. And within that, you'll get all kinds of,

what's the word I'm looking for here? You'll get all kinds of, it's fake accountability.

Meaning, I wear this, I own this. I did it. No, he actually doesn't do any of those things.

He doesn't wear them. He doesn't own them because he doesn't adjust to them the same way

he doesn't adjust to in-game situations. His way is the right way. And it is, as a result, the only way.
