Hey guys, welcome to Double Shot of Steelers, presented by the Fandul Sportsbook.

I'm Dan Kovachovic of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports. We are now officially Aaron Rogers days away from reporting date for training camp.

To make sure that that's understood what that means, reporting date is just when they show up.

Nothing else happens that day. A whole lot of conversations with people like me and they get assimilated, they move into their rooms,

they have their stuff, they don't have to bring the big gigantic plasma TVs anymore,

but some of them still do that.

And then the day after that is when they actually hit the field,

they'll have three days of non-padded practices and then, boom, things get real out there in La Trobe.

You guys, I appreciate the understanding of getting the break Friday here.

Went out to the wrong end of the Commonwealth to spend some time with the whole family.

It was a very, very good time.

It would have been more fun if I had brought all of you along, but it wasn't really room in the car.

You know, not with all the Turner's Ice Tea I brought along.

Continuing our theme, running theme that we've had for a few days now, running through every position on the field, every starting position, and asking whether or not it's contender level.

That's been what we've done so far.

So, for example, we've gotten to quarterback and we kind of hesitated because Rogers is obviously

Rogers, but he's also been ranked 24th, 25th, best in the league for quarterback rating, really ever since leaving Green Bay.

So is that contender level?

Depends on what the supporting cast does.

Depends on what the schematics are.

So we've gone the whole way around.
