I swear. I had something else to talk about today. I was going to do some, you know,

standard Steelers, Ravens preview, talk about this and that, playing Baltimore or whatever.

Mike Tomlin said a couple of things today that honestly just kind of

blew my mind. Good afternoon to you. Good Monday afternoon. I'm Dan Kovachovich of D.K. Pittsburgh

Sports. And this is a new double shot show. It comes your way every weekday. These teams are going to be meeting on Saturday night, 8 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium.

And when they do, the one thing that you can basically presume in advance is that the Steelers will be operating in their fears.

Okay?

And the reason that I know this isn't the obvious,

isn't just the stuff that you see.

Isn't the stuff that played out this past weekend?

It's that Tomlin and Arthur Smith and others who obviously

answer to him will readily acknowledge it. I want you to hear this line from Tomlin

today as it relates to the Steelers running the ball against the Bengals and sticking with the run, even when they saw that it wasn't going to work.

This was the question that was posed to him.

He was asked if he'd like to see the Steelers agenda shift quicker during a game if they aren't having success.

Certainly based on the outcome of our last performance, yes.

But in terms of a vision, you know, we make decisions.

We do not live in our fears.

We formulate plans to try to position ourselves to control the game.

And sometimes it might be minimizing our exposure to Joe Burrell with how we play offensively.

And so certainly based on the outcome, that judgment is open for discussion. But again, you know, those
