bit of a preface. See, I get the distinct sense, and I don't think this is exactly going out on

are a lot more, I don't know if disinterested is the right word, but disengaged.

You're not as intense, as involved, as invested as you normally would be in the Steelers part taking in a playoff game. Reasons for that

are both obvious and understandable. They've been terrible for about a month now. Arguably never

worse, at least this season, than they were this past weekend against the Bengals.

That brings you down.

I say this all the time, but fandom in sports is founded on hope.

It's a pretty simple thing.

If you lose hope, then you wonder what it is that you're even doing, putting any of yourself into the process.

So I'm not here to change that, okay?

But I am here to make a point.

And that is that you're so easy.

You have no idea what a softy you are when it comes to this stuff.
