Good afternoon. I'm Dan Kovachievich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports. The Devante Adams saga really began, if you think about it, if you follow the whole league, several months ago, arguably even early on last season for

the Raiders when he started complaining and he started showing some bad body language and

all those videos emerged of him running these open routes, wide open routes, waving his arms

like this and he couldn't get the football,

that it seemed even then like only a matter of time that he'd want out. Well, guess what?

He wants out. Oh, and guess further what? The Steelers would love to have him. The question is,

I believe, how much are they willing to give up? Because the

Steelers aren't the only team. You're also looking at the commanders. You're looking at the Jets.

Their names have popped up here over the course of the afternoon. And everything has, by the way,

built up over the afternoon to the point where it feels like this could happen at any moment, meaning for somebody.

But somebody is going to have to rise up when it comes to the ask.

What's been reported is that Las Vegas management wants to see a second round pick, kind of player and then some additional commodity.

And that's where it gets a little bit sticky because if you're the Steelers,

you can give up the second rounder.

You're not even thinking about that.

You can throw in the additional commodity since that's probably just a late round pick of some

kind you know fifth six round or whatever it's that area in the middle and this is where listen

i know this is going to sound dumb and i don't care because he's in his early 30s he's not what he was, Adams in Green Bay.

He couldn't be, but he still gets open.

He still gets open as well as any receiver in the league.

He still makes all the catches.

And we actually, to be fair to him, don't even know how good he can be because he hasn't had a quarterback there.
